Bring your history from another app
Import your workouts from Strong or Hevy, your food diary and weigh-ins from MyFitnessPal, or any CSV file, check what Fit+ found, and undo an import if you need to.
Switching to Fit+? Bring your history with you, so your records, PRs and past workouts stay with you. You see exactly what Fit+ found before anything is added, and you can undo an import later.
To open it, select Profile in the sidebar, then Export data, then Import history under Bring your history.
What you can bring
| From | What comes in | Where to get the file |
|---|---|---|
| Strong | Workouts | In Strong: Settings, then Export data |
| Hevy | Workouts | In Hevy: Profile, then Export |
| MyFitnessPal | Food diary and weight | A CSV export from MyFitnessPal |
| Another app | Workouts | Any CSV with a date, exercise, weight and reps |
Apple Health and Health Connect aren't imported here. They sync from the Fit+ app instead.
Import a file
Choose where your history is now
Under Where your history is now, pick Strong, Hevy, MyFitnessPal or Another app.
Choose your file
Select Choose a CSV file, or drop the file on the page. Files can be up to 20 MB. The file is read on your device, and nothing is added until you confirm.
Check the units
Under Units in this file, check whether the file's Weights are in kg or lb, and Distances in km or mi, so nothing is converted twice. If each row says its own unit, there's nothing to choose.
Match the columns (other apps only)
For Another app, tell Fit+ which column holds what under Columns we read. A Date, an Exercise, and Weight or Reps are needed. Choose Not in this file for anything the file doesn't have.
Check the exercise matches
For workouts, Fit+ matches each exercise to the Fit+ catalog. Select Change to pick another match, or Keep as custom to keep it as your own exercise. Anything not matched is added as your own exercise with its full history, and you can match it later.
Select Import
The button says what will be added, for example Import 120 workouts. Keep the page open until it finishes.
When it's done, you'll see how many workouts, food entries or weigh-ins were imported. Select See my history, See my food diary or See my weight to look at them.
If the file also has something already in Fit+, it isn't added twice. Rows Fit+ can't read, for example with no date or no weight or reps, are listed under Skipped with the reason. Fix the file and import it again: nothing already imported is duplicated.
Undo an import
Find the import
Under Past imports, find the file. Select Details to see what it added and skipped.
Select Undo import
You'll be asked "Undo this import?"
Select Undo import to confirm
The workouts, food entries and weigh-ins it added are removed, and your records are worked out again. Custom exercises it created stay. Select Keep it to cancel.
Common questions
The file doesn't look like an export from the app you chose. Check you picked the right app, or select Map the columns myself.
Export a shorter date range from the other app, then import each part.
Nothing was lost. Select Try again to carry on from where it stopped. If you leave it, the import shows as Stopped under Past imports: undo it, or select Mark as finished to keep what was added.
Imported workouts are part of your history, so a coach you share your Workouts with sees them. The same goes for your food diary and Nutrition, and your weight and Measurements.
