Approve nutrition check-ins

Review the new daily targets a client's weekly check-in proposes, then approve them or keep the current ones.

Each week, a client's Fit+ app can run a check-in: it looks at what they logged and how their weight is trending, and proposes new daily targets. When the client follows a nutrition plan you wrote, your plan wins. Nothing changes until you decide, so every proposal waits for you.

Before you start

  • You need to be verified as a nutritionist. Coaches don't review check-ins.
  • The client follows a nutrition plan from you and shares nutrition with you.

Find check-ins waiting for you

  • The orange number next to Nutrition in the sidebar shows how many check-ins are waiting.
  • Select Nutrition in the sidebar, then Check-ins at the top, to see every client's check-ins. Waiting ones come first.
  • On a client's profile, the Nutrition tab shows their Weekly check-in. Select All check-ins to open the full list.

What a check-in shows

  • The week it covers and its status: Waiting for you, Approved or Kept current.
  • Energy use: how much energy the client uses a day, how much that changed, and what it is based on, for example how much they logged a day, on how many of the 7 days, and their weight trend.
  • Daily targets: Current and Proposed calories, protein, carbs and fat side by side. Proposed values that change are highlighted.
  • The client's goal and pace, if they set one, for example when they are on pace to reach their goal weight.

Weights and weight changes show in the client's own units.

Decide on a check-in

Open the check-in from Check-ins or from the client's Nutrition tab.

Compare the current and proposed targets.

Choose one:

  • Approve new targets to change the plan to the proposed targets.
  • Keep current targets to leave the plan as it is.
  • Edit plan instead to open the plan and set the targets yourself.

If you approve or keep, a window asks you to confirm. Add a Note to [name] if you like (up to 300 characters). It is sent with your decision.

Select Approve new targets or Keep current targets to confirm, or Cancel to go back.

What happens next

  • The client is told your decision in the Fit+ app, with your note.
  • If you approved, their plan uses the new targets from now on.
  • The check-in shows when you decided and your note.

A check-in never changes a plan you wrote on its own. Only you can approve new targets for your client.
