Measurements and progress photos

Log tape measurements like your waist and hips, and keep private progress photos to compare over the weeks.

The scale only tells part of the story. Log tape measurements and take progress photos to see how your body changes over the weeks. Both are private to you.

To open them, select Health in the sidebar. Under Body progress, choose Measurements or Progress photos.

Log your measurements

Select Log measurements

Log measurements opens.

Fill in what you measured

Enter your Waist, Chest, Hips, Arm, flexed and Thigh. Select More measurements for your Calf, Neck, Shoulders and Forearm, and your Body fat (%). Leave the rest empty. Measurements are in centimetres or inches, following your units.

Choose the day and add a note if you like

Choose the Day. Add a Note, for example "Morning, before breakfast".

Select Save measurements

You'll see "Measurements saved".

Measure in the morning, in the same spot each time, so your numbers are easy to compare.

See how they change

Each measurement shows your latest value and how much it changed over the last 8 weeks. History lists every measuring session. To remove one, select the bin next to it, then Undo straight away if you change your mind.

Add a progress photo

Select Add photo

Add a progress photo opens.

Choose the photo

Select Take a photo or Choose from library. Photos can be JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC, up to 15 MB.

Choose the pose

Pick Front, Side, Back or Other.

Add the details if you like

Choose the Day taken. Add your Weight in your units to help you compare photos, and a Note.

Select Save photo

You'll see "Photo saved".

Same spot, same light, every few weeks makes the clearest comparison.

Compare your photos

Choose a Pose to see First and latest side by side, with every photo for that pose in the Timeline below.

Delete a photo

Select the delete button on the photo, then Delete photo. It's removed for good and can't be undone.

Who can see them

  • Progress photos are only for you. Coaches, nutritionists and gyms never see them, even when you share other data with them.
  • Tape measurements are only for you too. Sharing Measurements on Data sharing covers your weight, height and body fat readings, not your tape measurements.
