Log body measurements
Record your waist, chest, hips, arms, thighs and more with a tape measure, and see how each one changes over time.
The scale doesn't tell the whole story. Log your tape measurements in Fit+ to see how your body changes over the weeks.
Open your measurements
Tap Me, then My health, then Measurements.
Log measurements
Tap Log measurements at the bottom of the screen.
Fill in what you measured today and leave the rest empty. You can log your Waist, Chest, Hips, Arm, flexed, Thigh, Calf, Neck, Shoulders, Forearm and Body fat.
Lengths are in your units (centimetres or inches). Body fat is a percentage.
Tap Save. You'll see "Measurements saved".
Fit+ saves your measurements with today's date. Measure in the morning, in the same spot each time, so your numbers are easy to compare.
Follow your changes
- The card at the top shows your waist (or the first measurement you've logged) with a trend line and how much it changed over the last 8 weeks at most.
- Below, each measurement shows its latest value, when you last updated it and the change since the time before. A measurement you haven't logged shows Not measured yet.
- Tap a measurement to see every reading, newest first.
Who can see your measurements
Your tape measurements are private to you. Sharing Body measurements with a coach or nutritionist in Data sharing shares your weight, height and body fat, not your tape measurements.
Common questions
The number is outside what Fit+ accepts. Lengths go from 10 to 300 cm (about 3.9 to 118.1 in), and body fat from 2 to 70%.
Weight is a health reading, not a tape measurement. See Add a health reading.
