Workout and meal reminders
Get a reminder on your training days and at your meal times, choose when workout reminders go off and turn them off again.
Fit+ can remind you to train on your planned workout days and to eat at your meal times. Your phone shows these reminders by itself, on iPhone and Android, even when you're offline.
Turn reminders on or off
Tap Me, then the gear icon, then Notifications.
Under Push, turn Workout reminders or Meal reminders on or off.
If your phone hasn't allowed notifications from Fit+ yet, Fit+ explains why and then your phone asks. Tap Allow.
Workout reminders are on unless you turn them off. Meal reminders are off until you turn them on.
If you don't allow notifications, the switch stays off and Fit+ tells you how to turn them on in your phone's Settings.
Workout reminders
You get a reminder on each training day in your current plan, named after that day's workout, for example "Today: Upper Body". There's no reminder on rest days, and none on a day you've already trained. Tap a reminder to open Train and start the session.
Choose when they go off
When Workout reminders is on, a Reminder time row appears below it.
Tap Reminder time.
Pick the time you want and confirm.
Until you pick a time, Fit+ chooses one for you:
- 1 hour before you usually train, based on your plan's time or the times you've started recent workouts.
- If Fit+ doesn't know when you train yet, the reminder goes off at 08:00. The row says Choose a time that suits your training.
Meal reminders
- With a nutrition plan: you get a reminder at the time of each meal in your plan, with the meal's name, for example "Lunch: Chicken rice bowl".
- Without a plan: you get reminders for breakfast (07:30), lunch (13:00) and dinner (20:30).
A meal you've already logged today isn't reminded. Tap a reminder to open Fuel and log it. See Nutrition.
Reminders and quiet hours
Reminders follow your quiet hours. A reminder that falls inside them isn't shown. If you train early, set your reminder time outside your quiet hours.
Reminders only make a sound if Sound is on in notification settings.
