Home screen widgets
Add Fit+ widgets for your next workout, today's food, your week and your health to your home screen or lock screen, and choose whether health numbers show on the lock screen.
Fit+ widgets show your day at a glance without opening the app. Add them to your home screen on iPhone and Android, or to your lock screen on iPhone.
The widgets
| Widget | What it shows | Tap it to |
|---|---|---|
| Next workout | Your next workout, when it is and how many exercises it has, with a Start button | Start the workout |
| Fuel today | What you've eaten today against your target, with protein, carbs and fat | Open Fuel |
| This week | How many workouts you've done this week and what's next | Open your workout history |
| Health today | Your readiness, strain and last night's sleep | Open your readiness |
Calories show in your energy unit. If you don't have a plan yet, Next workout says No plan yet. If Health today has nothing to show yet, do a morning check-in or connect a watch. See Health and devices.
Add a widget
Touch and hold your home screen or lock screen until the apps jiggle or the lock screen zooms out.
Tap Edit, then Add Widget.
Search for Fit+, choose a widget and a size, and place it.
If a widget says "Open Fit+ to see your day", open the app once and it fills in. While Fit+ is running, widgets update whenever something changes, such as a finished workout, a logged meal, a health sync or a check-in, and again after midnight.
You can also see a preview of each widget in the app: tap Me, the gear icon, Security, then Home screen widgets.
Keep health numbers off your lock screen
Anyone who picks up your phone can see your lock screen. So by default, lock screen widgets show "Hidden on the lock screen" instead of your calories, readiness, strain and sleep.
Tap Me, the gear icon, Security, then Home screen widgets.
Under Lock screen, turn on Show health numbers on the lock screen if you want them there.
Turn it off again at any time. Widgets on your home screen always show your numbers.
