Log your usual foods and meals

Log foods again from Recents, keep favourites, save whole meals and keep foods of your own, so logging takes one tap.

Most people eat the same foods often. The Recents, Favourites and My foods tabs in Log food keep them close, so you can log them again in one tap.

To open them, tap Log food on Fuel. The tabs are under the search field.

Log a recent food

Recents lists the foods you've logged before, newest first.

  • Tap + next to a food to log it straight to the meal at the top of the sheet.
  • Tap the food itself to change the amount, meal or time first, then tap Log to and the meal name.

Keep your favourites

Star the foods you eat most and they stay in Favourites, even when they drop out of your recents.

  • In any entry in your journal, tap the star at the top.
  • Or tap ... next to a food you logged, then Add to favourites.

To remove one, tap the star again, or choose Remove from favourites.

Save a whole meal

A saved meal logs several foods together, such as your usual breakfast.

Log the foods first, so they're in your recents.

In Log food, open Favourites and tap New meal.

Give it a name, for example "Usual breakfast".

Under Pick the foods in this meal, tick each food.

Tap Save meal.

You can also save a meal while you copy it to other days: turn on Also save as a meal. See Copy a meal or a day.

Log a saved meal

Your saved meals are at the top of Favourites.

  • Tap + to log the whole meal to the meal at the top of the sheet.
  • Tap the meal to change amounts first. Tap an amount to change it, check the Total, then tap Log and the number of foods, for example Log 3 foods to breakfast.

To delete a saved meal, open it and tap Delete saved meal. Food you already logged from it stays in your diary.

Keep foods of your own

My foods holds foods you saved from a nutrition label, with their exact values.

Open My foods and tap Scan a label. (Once you have foods there, use Label mode in the camera instead.)

Check the values Fit+ read from the label.

Tap Save as a food. You can log it at the same time.

See Scan a nutrition label for the full steps.

Recipes

Recipes you save sit in Favourites too, under Recipes. See Save and log your own recipes.
