Tips for working with clients
Small habits that save you time and help your clients get the most out of Fit+.
A few habits make Fit+ Pro faster to use and help your clients stay on track.
Get set up well
- Fill in your profile properly. A clear headline, a friendly bio and your specialties help the right members find you. See Edit your public profile.
- Set your working hours. Members see them when they request a session, so you get fewer requests at times you can't do. See Manage your schedule.
- Allow notifications in the Fit+ app, so you hear about new requests even when you're away from your computer.
Start each day on your home page
- Check Awaiting your decision first. Clients can use a swap for today while you review it, so a quick answer keeps their plan on track.
- Look at Clients needing attention. A short message to someone whose adherence has dropped often helps more than changing their plan.
- Nutritionists: check the orange number next to Nutrition. A client's new targets wait for you until you answer their weekly check-in. See Approve nutrition check-ins.
Ask for what you need early
- When a new client books you, check what they share on their profile. If a button is greyed out, select it and ask them to share. See What your clients share with you.
- Explain why in chat. Clients are more likely to share when they know it helps you plan for them.
Build once, reuse often
- Save your favourite exercises with your usual sets and loads in My exercises.
- Save good workouts, blocks and meals as templates as you build them, with Save as template.
- Assign a program or nutrition plan template to several clients at once, then adjust each copy. See Use and assign a template.
- Use Duplicate on a program to start a similar one quickly.
Keep clients in the loop
- Leave Tell [name] what changed in chat ticked when you update a plan. Your client sees exactly what changed.
- Use Leave feedback on a program's progress page after you look at a session.
- Ask clients to share their weekly report with you from the Fit+ app. Their note on the report tells you how the week felt. See Follow a client's progress.
- Add notes on a client's profile for injuries and preferences, so you never have to ask twice.
Use AI with care
- AI draft in the builders turns your written description into a first draft. Always review it before you assign it.
- An AI estimate for a food is a starting point. Check it against a label when you can.
- Your clients' data is never sent to AI from Fit+ Pro. Only what you type is used.
